Welcome to Wagtails Cottage...
The old barn that became Wagtails cottage was built in the 17th century and retains many original features, including beautiful oak beams. The cottage is named after the birds which always nested in the barn (in the upstairs bedroom through the little windows behind the beds, you can see the nests of the Wagtails which still live here).
The charming and characterful accommodation is split over several levels.
The cottage can accommodate up to four adults and a baby in two bedrooms. Both can be set up with superking or twin beds.
The bathroom has a low level toilet and a bath with shower over.
The lounge has an open fire with two comfortable leather settees, TV and dvd player.
Downstairs there is a sizeable kitchen diner with a large French window providing access to a patio area. The well equipped kitchen has a full range of built in appliances: fridge freezer, oven and induction hob, microwave, dishwasher and washer dryer.
The sitting out area is equipped with table and chairs and a barbeque in the summer months. The large garden is shared with Swallows cottage and offers a further seating area with stunning views across the valley.
We provide all power, complementary WiFi and all bed linen and towels. A travel cot, stairgate and high chair can be provided on request.
